Charles H. Haws Athletic Center
Charles H. Haws Athletic Center is a state-of-the-art facility in Fort Worth, TX. Located on the beautiful campus of Texas Christian University, this athletic center provides an array of services for student-athletes and the general public. The center has been named after Charles H. Haws, who served as a beloved coach of TCU football from 1960 to 1971.
The facility was founded in 2003, is home to many sports, and serves as a recreational hub for the students of TCU.
Sports
Volleyball
Volleyball is one of the sports that the Charles H. Haws Athletic Center is known for. The state-of-the-art facility offers two full-size courts, bleacher seating for up to 500 people, and a wonderful sound system perfect for hosting tournaments and home games. Along with its impressive court space, the athletic center provides student-athletes access to specialized equipment in drills and practices, such as volleyball, nets, mats, etc.
Baseball and Softball
With six full-sized fields, the Charles H. Haws Athletic Center provides ample room for baseball and softball teams to practice their sport throughout both collegiate seasons. Standing at 300' on all sides, these fields are ideal for tournaments and gameplay. Bleacher seating is available to fans, and sheltered batting cages give baseball and softball teams a competitive edge during practices and drills.
